Longchamp Racecourse is located in Paris, and host Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe every year in the first week of October. It has courses for flat races, and was first opened in 1857.
Longchamp has five courses: one big track if 2 750 meters, one medium of 2 500 m, one small of 2 150, one 1000 meter straight track and the new track of 1 400 m. The Racetrack itself is 2 750 meters with 46 different starting points from 1 000 to 4 000 meters. The Longchamp Racecourse is set in 57 hectares between the Seine and the Bois de Boulogne.
