York Racecourse in North Yorkshire, England, is Britains third biggest course in terms of prize money offered. It hosts three of Britains 31 Group 1 races: the Juddmonte International Stakes, the Nunthorpe Stakes and the Yorkshire Oaks.

York Racecourse is a flat wide and left-handed course of 2 miles, with a straight run-in of over 4 ½ furlongs and two bends. Races of 5 furlongs and 6 furlongs are on a straight course. One track extension links the winning post to the back straight making it a 15 furlong round course.
