Cheltenham Racecourse

Cheltenham Racecourse is located at Prestbury Park, Gloucestershire in South-West England. The main racecourse has two tracks, the Old Course and the New Course. It also hosts the annual Cheltenham Festival. Outside the main course is a cross-country course used for cross-country steeplechases.

The Old and the New course are both left-handed ovals. They are about 1,5 miles in circumferences, with chutes for the starts of races over 2,5 miles and also 4 miles. The run-in is uphill from the last fence of 237 yards.
